What comes with Vitaloop FlexGuard Bottle?

The packaging includes the Vitaloop water filtration bottle, the FlexGuard filter, a carabiner, a strap, the anti-bacterial pre-treatment pouch, the charging cable, a quick guide and the instruction manual.

What is the weight of the bottle?

The Vitaloop bottle weighs 490g, and the filter alone weighs 86.8g.

How long does the battery last and how can I charge my bottle?

Vitaloop's lithium-ion rechargeable battery can filter up to 13 gallons/50 liters of water on a single charge, lasting up to 2 weeks of hiking. The product is equipped with a USB-C socket and comes with the corresponding charging cable included.

Is it safe to clean Vitaloop bottle in the dishwasher?

We do not recommend washing any parts of Vitaloop in dishwasher.

We recommend the pre-treatment pouch and clean water container to be washed regularly, by hand with warm water and soap.

The filter should be airdryed.

How does the bottle compare to other water bottles with filters?

Vitaloop is the first automatic and portable water filtration bottle on the market with such advanced filtration system and long battery life.

Is it safe to use Vitaloop on hot and cold water?

Vitaloop can handle water temperature up to 122°F/50°C.

Is the bottle BPA-free?

Yes. All materials are BPA-free.

How can I check my battery level?

Double-click the power button, and the LED light will indicate the battery status. One flash means the battery is below 20%, while five flashes indicate a full battery.

How often do I need to replace the filter?

The performance of a Vitaloop filter gradually decreases as it nears the end of its operational life, resulting in longer filtration times. If you notice that your Vitaloop filter takes 3 minutes or more to complete a single filtration cycle, it is a clear indication that it needs to be replaced.

Nanoflow filters have a lifespan of up to 60 gallons/250 liters, although this duration is influenced by the water quality. As a precautionary measure, we advise replacing the filter every 3 to 4 months.

How do I know when to change the filter?

The indication to replace the filter is when the filtration time exceeds 3 minutes.

Additionally, as a precautionary measure, we recommend replacing the filter after 3 to 4 months of use.

How long can I store a sealed filter?

When stored in its vacuum pack, the filter's lifespan is practically limitless, potentially extending beyond 10 years.

How long can I store an unsealed filter?

If filter is unsealed, but not used yet, it is safe to store it for one year.

What is the capacity of the filter?

Our filter can handle up to 60 gallons/250 liters, with the actual capacity depending on the quality of the water being filtered.

Are there specific maintenance requirements for filters?

It's essential to initiate the setup process by soaking the filter in water for a duration of 20 mins. This step is important for preparing the filter for effective filtration. Once soaked, insert the filter into the bottle and run 2 filtration cycles before using the filtered water for consumption.

After using, we recommend taking the filter out and air drying it.

What is the difference between Flexguard, Defender and Health+ filter?

The FlexGuard - our default catridge efficiently removes bacteria, chlorine and other harmful impurities, while preserving essential minerals and enhancing water taste and clarity.

The Defender filter, building on the FlexGuard's capabilities, adds Virus Purification technology to eliminate 99.99% of viruses.

The Health+ filter enhancing the FlexGuard base, improves water quality by adding alkalinity and magnesium, promoting better health with every sip.

Can this filter spa or pool water?

It is safe as it removes chlorine, potential bacteria, and other chemicals. But note that pools and spa water usually have high mineral content to balance PH level and alkalinity, and this is something Vitaloop does not remove and such water won't taste good.

What beverages can I filter with a Vitaloop device?

Only water. Cold or room temperature. Other beverages may damage the device.

Do the filters remove microplastic?

Yes. Microplastics are removed by the microfiltration stage of the filtration. Our cutting-edge technology also means we filter out PFAS, chemicals, heavy metals and bacteria.

Do all filters remove PFAS?

Yes. All NanoFlow filters remove PFAS through our Activated Carbon Filter.
